Recording Audio

To record audio to an audio file

From the Tools menu, choose Record Audio.
The Media Properties dialog box is displayed with the Timing tab selected.
Click Start.
The Start button will change to Next and Alive e-Show will start a five second recording countdown. When the countdown reaches zero (0), Alive e-Show will begin recording and the timer and will begin counting upward.
As you record, you can set your slide transitions by clicking Next.
The Next button will have focus so you can click Next by pressing the SPACEBAR or by pressing ENTER. When you reach the last slide in the section, Next will become Stop.
When you are finished recording click Stop.

Your microphone plugs directly into your sound card at the back of your computer. If you don't have a sound card you will not be able to record audio.

Speak slowly and clearly into the microphone.
Rehearse the script before you begin recording.
If you make a mistake while recording, you can click Stop and then re-record your audio.
